Best injector cleaner for RS4

I want to run a bottle of injector cleaner through the fuel tank of my RS4. I bought the car with 51K miles on it so it's a fairly high miler. It's had nothing other than Shell V-Power since I bought it but I have no idea what fuel was used for the first 51K miles.
For those of you who have used fuel additives to clean the injectors and fuel system, what are your experiences with them and what, if any, benefits did you notice? Are they all much of a muchness?

well if audi are to be believed, then strictly no other products than
"Fuel additive for petrol engines, available under - Part No.: G 001 700.03"

I use Winns DIP3 every 5k miles. I've tried a few and the car is more responsive on this than many other DI injector cleaners.

Hi PG do you have a link to where this can be bought, as I have heard good things about it but cant seem to find a seller.
Cheers for the help

My dealer gave me this:
I also occasionally use BG 44k, no sure if it's available over there. I tend to only use fuel additives before changing the oil as the detergent agents & deposits break down the oil.

IIRC if you go to Winns website there is a dealer locator on it. I use Andrew Page motofactors in Newcastle for mine.

If you decide to use the audi stuff these are the instructions, interestingly it also notes how to tell if you need to do this or not (provided you have VCDS)

I used to use it on my corrado and later found it caused the seals on the injectors to bond themselves to the head and injectors and had to have a whole new fuel rail as it was bent trying to get the thing off. I was told not to use it again, it was the slick 50 version i used every 6000 miles.

And that is probably why we should stick to G17, regarding fuel additive.

Use what A20Lee, DIP3 or G17?

I have never done this, do you think its worth me asking the dealership parts dept to give me some to try? What price should I expect to pay?

I would use G17 in combination with DIP 3 Aerosol as they do two different jobs, G17 cleans the injectors, DIP 3 aerosol reduces our coking problem, there is no need to use G17 unless you do the test with VCDS and fail it.
