So much for Audi dealers rejecting high milers.
Mind you it might help if the Sat Nav wasn't half out the dash!

RE: 77000 miles and Used Approved!
I was just on the phone to Audi, listening to the Hold blurb they clearly stated they were only interested in purchasing back used cars less than 8 years old and with less than 70,000 miles on the clock with FASH, so how did these end up with a 77K'er.

the franchise you rang may have a different policy, as long as it meets Used Approved standards then it's eligible.I was just on the phone to Audi, listening to the Hold blurb they clearly stated they were only interested in purchasing back used cars less than 8 years old and with less than 70,000 miles on the clock with FASH, so how did these end up with a 77K'er.
The warranty co will set a mileage limit but what that is I don't know

Not a bad price from an audi dealer presumably with 12 months warranty. Seat bolster looks worn though.
Gone to the dark side
RE: 77000 miles and Used Approved!
Mondial warranty has a limit of 100k on renewal
There is nothing in the approved charter that would mean this car could not be approved
Most garages would trade this vehicle as its undesirable, hence why its been there for at least 45 days
Bedford Audi prob paid peanuts for it (£18/19k) in p/x and decided to take a punt to sell it themselves ... Expect a price drop in a week or two, or say 1 or 2 k , and then it will be traded if it doesn't shift
Simples

Yes but when you come to sell who's going to want to buy it with close to 100k or more on the clock?

Having had a high mileage RS 4 I totally agree with PG, mileage is not an issue and an 80k car is just as likely to be as perfect as a 20k car IF looked after
But, all parts have a shelf life of either time or miles, and that's why having an Audi warranty on a high miler, IMO, is the key to decent (see: easier) resale as it takes that element of worry away
Tbh, If I hadn't bought my Cab, I'd be down Bedford Audi right now taking that car at £23k with 1year mondial warranty and min approved standard ... I could do with the load space
Oh well, I'm sure I'll get over it tonight when I'm blasting away with my roof down and milltek up
