Getting service/recall/warranty info on my new car from audi

After about a year of thinking about it and looking at several (including at the local dealer), I've bought a '56 avant in daytona grey, but from an independent garage.
Would it be too cheeky to ask the audi garage for a print-off of the service and warranty info? It is a local car, supplied by them originally.
I'm picking it up next week and can't wait!

I used to have no problem doing that but last time I tried I was told that the info on previous service/maintenance work 'belonged' to the relevant owner and they wouldnt let me have the printouts- and I had just bought the car from them.

Well, I called in past the dealer that had maintained my new car today and they were very helpful and printed off a list of the services carried out and recalls.
One of the last items was an estimate to fix various advisory works found at the last service, totalling over 5K! This must have been the last straw for the previous owner.
Now, I know that some of the work has not been done, eg the discs have been scrubbed up for the corrosion and the pads have been replaced. The other major items were front shocks leaking and the auxiliary radiators leaking.
I am I right in thinking that if the shocks haven't been replaced, they are covered under the audi warranty for five years? Would they say that after 4 years 3 months it is wear and tear?
I'll have to have a closer look at the rads in daylight, is it obvious if they are leaking (prob more obvious when cold?).

Bit late now but you can ring Audi History and they will give you service history over the phone (plus factory fitted options)
Edited to say I just rang the number and there is a recorded message saying they no longer offer the service! They did 4 months ago and years before that...weird

I knew which dealer originally supplied my car but went via the Audi uk website. They passed me the email address of the dealership who I then emailed. They came back right away with warranty work etc. Guess it differs from dealer to dealer.

These are all common problems but can see how they could put off the faint hearted !
Brakes & Pads there are several sources who advertise on here, shocks should indeed be covered for 5 years by Audi this is under goodwill so a FASH will help but otheres on here have had them replaced after using Indis for servicing. Aux radiators are also common and was a thread on here that said 600 fitted at Audi so I reckon if bought the brakes well & Audi warranty the suspension could be done for nearer 2000.
