Hey guys - anyone got a Daytona Avant with tints rear of the b-pillars? Quite fancy doing this, but would like to see some photos of how it looks.

You'll probably find that half the daytonas have factory tints. Afraid I'm on my phone so can't send pics of mine, but I'd have thought a quick look on Pheads should throw some up...

If you get stuck I can post pics of my Mugello Blue with rear tints. Not quite as nice as a Daytona, mind...

No side elevation, but reasonable shots nonetheless.

Id be inclined to do the fronts as well if it were me; looks more coherent (a bit like this one in Sprint: http://usedcars.audi.co.uk/zoom.aspx?Id=601223459)

That's likely to get you stopped by the Old Bill - the fronts are already tinted pretty close to the legal limit in the UK.

Fair comment. Still, I really dont like how an avant sits with the rears only tinted and I think the saloon looks even worse.

PM me your email add and I'll happily ping across a couple of pics of mine. I've got factory Privacy rear of B pillar..

I personally think it looks much better with the tints and, with the titan alloys and optics, IMO looks the mutts nuts.

JHT - get the pics up here man! I sure we'd all like a butchers at your motor.

I'm with Andre3000 though. I'm not a fan of rear tints. Makes black cars look like vans and it seems odd to me to have windows that don't match.

That means I'll have to spend at least half an hour swearing at the laptop working out how to load up pics doesn't it?!

Will upload the pics and remove no plate in the morning if someone can point me towards the easiest way of uploading?

I've just put a photo of my daytona avant in the "my garage" section of my profile, hopefully you can have a look, its got factory "privacy glass" the pics were taken in bright sun so the tints look quite light, but in more overcast light they are very dark.
