Jesus H Christ!
How happy can one bloke be.
Picked my Daytona saloon up at lunchtime from Bournemouth and took every scenic route I could on the way back to NW London. What a giggle in the slippery conditions and wow that sound

. Not even a bloody great chip on the windscreen on the way home could remove my grin.
Proudest bloke on the planet to have the RS on my drive after wanting one since the B5's were new! Well chuffed.
Thanks to everyone on here for all of your help and advice and I'm pretty confident you'll be hearing a lot more from me.
Cheers all
I'll post some pics when the weather's picked up.

It was the B5 that made me want an RS4 too - it's a great feeling when you fulfill the dream.
Enjoy!

Thanks guys,
I was trying to explain it to my son the whole way home what it meant to me but he didn't get it. He realised what it meant when I said it was like when he met Shearer at St James'

Me too - it was that Evo edition with it at the 'ring. The only criticism was sloppy tolerances that somehow prevented the 155mph limiter from ever kicking in
I missed the boat on that one, so made sure I got a deposit down on the B7 the day the book opened, even though I wanted one late in the run...

No. At the time I had a T-Sport Quattro Avant - young family so a move up from a Fiat Coupe. Changed to a new 53 plate B6 S4 Avant (company car) so couldn't justify buying the B7 RS4 so soon after - hence putting the deposit down but only taking it in April 07
