Catch Can

Post by Stoffle32 » Wed Dec 01, 2010 12:01 pm

Hi All

I know this has been discussed before, but there was no dedicated page!
I want to know is it really worth putting in a catch can to help with carbon deposits! Or would it not really make a difference?

Oil catch Can

I had one fabricated and fitted for peace of mind but it's trapped virtually zero. Concensus is that the deposits originate from valve stem seal seepage or/and timing overlap. I'm fitting water/methanol injection over the winter so we'll see if that helps.
