Delay when changing gear

Hi all,
Just got in from a wee blast along the road.
I noticed when i was changing gear (quickly) it felt like there was a few seconds delay between me releasing the clutch till it got back on the power again. No sign of clutch slipping just felt a little odd as if there was delay in something engaging straight way.
Any thoughts.
Allan

Remember to keep the ESP button depressed for more then 5 secnds to have TC 'off' and the light permanently illuminated.

The OP's throttle delay would be cured by a single stage button push (i.e. ASR off) - turning the full TC off could possibly lead to more serious outcomes...

Perhaps so however ASR still reigns in the power moreso than TC off so stage 1 may improve the power delivery but stage 2 would definitely.

How do most people set their car up? TC on, or off to stage 1 or 2? Or do you change it depending on the conditions?

I always used to leave it on as the B7 doesn't quite have enough torque to overpower mechanical grip unless you're being a hooligan.
The only time I'd switch it off is when requiring a quick getaway from standstill when during the 1st to 2nd shift (and to a lesser extent 2nd to 3rd shift) it cuts power.
On the B5, its off all the time.

That's exactly my approach too...

Off when its wet!
Is there anyway you can go in through Vagcom and have TC disabled as default?
