That's weird Andrew, Earlier in August you were being helpful about this sale:

http://www.rs246.co.uk/index.php?name=P ... highlight=

Anyways, I always give my posts very clear/honest subject descriptions and then a post that matches the subject description, so you don't have to click on it. No misleading subject lines followed by an ad for "herbal viagra" from me.

The lovely car is freshly waxed for any RS4 lurkers out there.

Best wishes all.

BA

PS I recently bought a Lotus Exige S2 and after a week of ownership I already asked the dealer/tuner to mod the gearbox so it is "more RS4 like". lol

I am always helpful as you'd know if you'd posted anything other than mainly adverts on here.

http://www.rs246.co.uk/index.php?name=P ... North_Wind

Just advising you that you may find a better result if you advertise where people might be looking for B7s rather than in a forum where most people own them.

2 threads in the top few advertising the same car is a bit excessive

1st advert
http://www.rs246.co.uk/index.php?name=P ... ic&t=85947
2nd advert
http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNp ... ic&t=86305
3rd advert
http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNp ... 02717#4027

and one in classfieds

Thanks Andrew. The reason for more than one thread is that, unlike other forums, you can't (unless I am mistaken) edit the subject matter. Therefore if you mention the price in the subject matter (which most people like) a new thread is required when you change the price. When I am selling kites on kiteboarder I can edit the subject matter. Can't do it on this board.

Stop clicking on this thread if you don't like it.

Or say something helpful.

Best,

BA

Or say something helpful.
Don't put the price in the subject and update the price by posting an update in the body of thread

I was just enjoying your reply with the "buyanycar.com" logo. You deleted that pretty quick. Thought better of it?

Move on bud. Your post count is high enough.

I think its a bit weird too mate.

Threads in general chat are just that, threads in the classifieds are what you would expect. This is the first forum I have been to where multiple threads advertising stuff in the general chat sections of the site is permitted. And using some smokescreen such as "The price is in the title which I cant change" is simply bollox. You know it cant be changed, so dont put it there, put a single for sale thread up and dont clog up the boards with your sales adverts.

On a slightly different tack - can we expect you to keep reducing your car by £500 every 12 hours for a while, as I like my Avus Avant so much I quite fancy a normal silver saloon for 20k !!!

:D

J.

I'd be all over that if it had buckets!

Can I ask - The car looks like it has the black optics pack but the grill surround is silver? Not seen that before???
