Hi guys, I am new to this forum and have just purchased a b7 rs4 avant. Been looking through some posts and noticed most of you guys seem to recommend using Castrol Edge oil. I have long life servicing on my car and the computer says that it will need a service in 15k miles (currently on 37k). I would like to do my own oil change before then but after looking in halfords at the wkend i noticed a couple of different types of edge, different viscosity ratings. My question is which one do i use? Am i right in thinking i will need 10 litres to do a change? Thanks

10 litres of Castrol Edge 5W-30 VAG 504.000 / 507.000 oil specifically formulated for VAG long life service is what it says on the containers.

Is this ok to use whilst on long life servicing and car within warranty. Tescos have this at my local store half price.
