Just been to Audi dealership looking to buy 2007 with 22k on clock, just like your advice on the discs. They have a appox 2-3mm,may be more lip on them, being the originals.Sales person suggest it has been through the Audi check but i am concerned they are,or in very near future, in need of replacements, knowing the cost involved this has put me off.
Just one more thing, the bolsters have a few scrapes, not tears, he suggests they can be dealt with by leather "specialist"?
Thanks for looking i will find one soon.

I am in the same boat with one I am after - you just have to weight up the pros and cons of each particular car.
Key points I am considering are;

number of owners
mileage
specification - does it have nav, FBSW, buckets
bodywork condition (originality and number of imperfection)
condition of tyres
condition of wheels - particulary careful to spot smart repairs which may look OK initially
condition of brakes
condition of seat bolster
scope of warranty
amount of tax that comes with

A car with none of these in its favour should be worth a lot less than an up together car yet most cars are roughly the same price.

Ask for the discs to be changed for new ones or the sale's off, simple.

They're over £500 for a pair + fitting, so either get that taken off the sale price, have them done for the sale, or walk away - lots of B7s for sale.

Ditto the pads.

Re the Leather - just get some Liquid Leather - that'll sort them.
