Tubi exhaust + X-pipe installed

Hello to everyone! As some of you know I had tubi installed a few months ago and despite the fact that it was highly enjoyable I thought it wasn't loud enough. So yesterday I went to Hamman where a friend of mine works and had a custom X-pipe welded instead of a stock resonator.
The result. It is loud as hell. With the resonator I could easily stand behind it while someone else was revving it. Now it is impossible to do that without covering your ears  Now it sounds remotely like a corvette and on the overrun it bangs and burbles. Presumably I'm the only one who has done it and in case anyone is interested I might try making a few clips and post them :D
Cheers!

Oh excellent, the tubi does not include the valves right? do you track the car, if so you may be over the noise limit. any way enough o the negative <beep>.

Sounds great, I have a full Milltek and 200 cell cats, and I too just love that over run sounds, esp the burble. Your neighbors will love you, just don't get the SW0090 added lol

I've got the x-pipe and it has lift over crackle, looking to change my back boxes in the next couple of months for freer flowing ones but retain the actuators and tips so will have the best of both worlds. Have you noticed any decrease in power ala Milltek cat back (supposedly)?

Hm, I've never heard about it. I doubt that a catback can cause reduced power. Presumably if you dump the cats or install freer flowing ones you might encounter some issues, but not with the catbacks I think :? As for me, well I actually thought while driving it that it pulls a lot easier and feels lighter and quicker. I'm quite sure it's in my mind mostly, but who knows? :D

I was being sarcastic. the SW0090 makes the car idle higher on cold start, great with a non-res system. 1800rpm for around 1 minute, it can be a bit annoying, esp at 5am on a cold morning lol

*EDIT* In fact it sounds bloody awesome, esp as the flaps are open for that minute, the rumble and popping makes it sound like a old Class B rally car
