Your past cars

I noticed a lot of you have your past collection of cars listed as part of your sig so thought I would start a thread for everyone to post up pics of your old, current and / or favourite toys.
I've had a relatively short driving career compared to others on the forum so here are all mine in chronological order.
1st Car
1.0L Polo, an overwhelming 44Bhp and 0-60 time of circa 16 seconds.
Capable of just reaching 3 figure speeds with a long enough downhill (private) road.
I was over £1000 to insure this thing when I was 18!
2nd Car
Corrado G60 - my first taste of forced induction.
Unfortunately it lost a moderately high velocity fight against a pesky kerb...
Part of the hub is still attached to the alloy, sheared clean off the car.
3rd Car
Escort RS Turbo (The white one)
4th Car
4x4 Sapphire RS Cosworth - I sold this in 2003 with over 134k on the clock and according to the insurance database she's still alive!
5th Car
Big Turbo Escort RS Cosworth, Stage 3 Tuned.
1st Bike
1999 Yamaha R6
2nd Bike (Current)
2009 Yamaha R6
6th Car
Renault Clio RSi - my winter hack after I sold the Escort last year and needed something to potter about in until I found the right RS4. Note my dedication in staying true to RS ownership! Bought on eBay for the princely sum of £410, sold two months later on eBay for £620
7th Car (Current)
RS4
I won't bore you with yet another photo of a standard looking Sprint Blue saloon so here she is covered in snow foam.

a bit off topic but how does SNOW FOAM washing work? Do you have a special nozzle for your hose pipe / Karcher? Do you just leave it on and then rinse it off and have a clean car or do you still have to get a sponge out and use some elbow grease???

I use a Autobrite Standard Snow Foam Lance and it's excellent - you still need to wash the car afterwards for a perfect clean but it seriously reduces the risk of paint damage & marring.

More info on snow foam here
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog ... rying.html
You buy a special foam bottle / lance you attach in place of the standard Karcher one.
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog ... -cat2.html
My cleaning regime is usually pressure wash with water only to completely soak the car and blast off the worst of the dirt.
Cover the car in snow foam and let it sit for around 5 minutes.
Pressure blast the foam off and then wash, dry and wax the car as you normally would.

Well that explains your name then.
Interesting thread this - fascinating to see the different routes we took to the same car.

I thought the same. (Jesus - just worked out my Mini had 1/16th of the RS6's power.)
But what really made me think was the whole car didn't cost much more than what it costs to fill up with petrol now.
