Volcanic ash issues!!!

Any of you guys had any "ash" issues?

Spent all day yesterday cleaning and polishing my baby...when i came out this morning definately a covering of ash. Yellowish in colour...pain in the arse...wiped her down again this morning...three hours later a slight covering again.... :evil:

BTW i live in the north east!!!

my only "ash" issue was my cancelled flight to the Algarve ! :bash:

Ashes are supposed to be dark grey not yellow as far as I remember. Are you sure it is not sand ? In both cases you have to be careful removing it if you don't want to scratch the car.
For sure depending on where you are located. In the continental Europe, it is quite common to receive some sand from North Africa.

Nope..its defo ash based. Never had it before....rather like very small flakes.

Pain in the arse...i am the most anal man in the world when it comes to cleaning my car!!!!

lots of pollen and dust here again pita cleaned it sunday monday filthy just looking at her now and thinking she will be dirty by the morning again still at least i didnt clean her before it rained :)

Now we have carbon deposits on the car aswell

don't forget to change you airfilter once it settles down a bit...
and cabin filter too

I can smell sulphur this morning - nothing much to report on any ash type substance on the car, but I can definately smell it.
