how can the e92 m3 be this much quicker??

Post by dlextreme1977 » Wed Apr 21, 2010 6:13 pm

Can any rs4 owners confirm if this is for real. How can 2 cars with the same weight and power be so different in speed? Its night and day in a straight line/almost different league... surely physics would suggest this isnt possible..? I thought the rs4 would run with an m3?

confused

The RS4 driver is obviously too busy trying to time 3000-8000 RPM with the lap timer. Maybe he should stop fiddling and just get on with it.

all the mag tests have the M3 a bit faster...times are close, trap sppeds a bit higher

second race was pretty much even

What are you confused about? How a coupe version of the M3 with same power output as an RS4 but lighter is quicker than the RS4 saloon?

And then an M-DCT M3 with remap is quicker than a stock RS4.

Jog on.

incorrect
the 1655 includes a driver and baggage, the 1650 does not...and both are incorrect
weighed cars
M3 ~3570
RS4 close to 4000 lbs

aye? remap/exhaust makes next to no difference, there are some rs4's on here with these mods and the gains seem pretty negligible. also the weights are near as damn it the same
