Buckets vs Recaro's

Hi all,
Can't make my mind up.
I'm nearing the point where I lose my B6 S4 and venture into RS land but really can't decide which seats will best suit. I like to drive my cars 'well' so definitely leaning towards the buckets.
I have a 7 year old son and on occasions take customers out in my car. Are the buckets as restrictive as people keep telling me? I also want a TV set up when I buy.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

you must have recaro's in your B6, no?
my vote is buckets, you just cant beat the grip...
it adds to the special feel of the car IMO....i recon your 7yr old will love 'em, be like being in a space ship (!sorta...)
Customers will be fine, you can get 4 adults in pretty well as long as they're not all giants

Dont do the buckets imho..very uncomfortable, and you need to be a contortionist to get in and out of them..sure they feel good in corners..but i prefer the recarros!

This is one of the "other" longest debates on here...what is better, well for me the buckets look good, and feel good, esp on the track. however Mine is not a daily driver. I had a Avant with the Recaros in as a hire car once, felt great and would prob be best as a daily driver, but did not feel special.
I went for the buckets purely for looks, and the fact they clamp you in when you actiavate the 'S' button

Buckets for me too and ive got 2 children,
one is 2yrs old and the other is 4yrs old and have no problems
except the odd foot in the back of the seat but no doubt you'll get that with every seat

The silhouette of the buckets with the harness apertures are visually fantastic as you approach the car and IMO, complements the RS badge.
Customers are only really going to be in your car short term so I doubt they'd think any less of you for making them squeeze into buckets. If anything it'll be quite novel for a few of them who have never sat in a 'proper' sports seat.
At the end of the day. its you who has to live with them.

i opted for recaros in my S3... and wished I had got the buckets, I'd say it depends on how opten the back seats are used as the buckets do take up most of the rear leg room

As previous,
My customers won't be in it too often so shouldn't be an issue. Not sure about the TV in the head lining if I go for the buckets?

Recaros every time - especially if you're going to have anybody taller than a child or dwarf in the rear seats.
I went for the Recaros because I want/need a car that as well as being fun is practical, and IMHO that makes the buckets a non-starter - because of both the rear legroom issue and the inability for ladies in long dresses to get in or out of the buckets.

im not sure i agree with this dwarf business
only this morning I gave a lift to two of my work colleague, both 6ft and they fitted in fine...ok, its no limo, but its not like the back of a TT !

I suppose I just need to try them both and go from there.
Thanks for all the feedback guys - invaluable.
Cheers
