Im happy to pay a price for them to do an inspection and am not interested in taking it anywhere apart from the local dealer as I dont have the time.

So far im going to ask them to check:-

Rear alloy stip at top of bumper, seems to go everytime truck wash gets anywhere near it.
Valves for coaking up
Exhaust flaps fot build up and ending up noisey
Suspension for knock (osf)
Shocks for leaking as handling vastly reduced again.
Clutch as sometimes sticking on the way up (any idea's)
Hesistant on first drive in the morning (just first pull away)
Corrosion to oil cooler
rusty bolts in engine bay
Disks are warped to hell but i think that will be at my expense

I think thats all, Can any of you offer me advise on this as september the 1st i will be on my own as im not taking out extended warranty.

Thanks in advance.

do you think the dealer will give it the most comprehensive looking over? Why not try a good independent like unit 20. if they pick something up on it you can then take it to audi. just an idea

clutch and brake discs wont be covered as far as I know.

Good news guys...... infact amazing news!

In the end i reported the suspension issue, brakes, clutch and rear trim.

I have had new disks and pads FOC, new clutch and fly wheel FOC, new osf shock FOC and new rear trim FOC!!!!!!

Everything covered by WTY and the car has done 35k miles.

Time to go into the service advisor with a bottle of something nice, good job we get on well :D

Still cant believe my luck!

Excellent result there, esp the disks.

having discs replaced under warranty is surprising enough but pads :? - never heard of any manufacturer replacing a friction component under warranty after 35k of presumably spirited driving.
Publicise that dealer :!:
