Derby Audi - praise where praise is due

So, purchased my 07 sprint blue saloon RS4 from them in Sept last year and went back a couple of weeks with a fairly long list of complaints / niggles.

Including CC not working, A pillar trim coming away, rear headrest different to others, drivers seat deflating, paint on alloy wheels peeling, plus several others I cant even remember this eve.

Anyway, got the car back within a week, all sorted, no problem whatsoever

So, I know dealers often get a bad rep on forums (not that I've seen any Derby Audi threads on this subject) so heres the other side that often gets forgotton about - after all we brits love to moan ;)

Def recommended for warranty work.

GS

ps - in no way connected to Derby Audi :P :P :P :P

Useful to post good reports like this as it helps us all of us to identify where we should be taking our cars.

Good question, one that I've been unable to answer as well!
On the way up the road from Wakefield after collecting mine I decided to try it out somewhere north of Carlisle.
Lasted all of 2.7 miles before I became bored and its not been on since.

Having just paid over 30k for a bad ass V8 torque beast, why on earth would I want to let the car decide how the loud pedal's controlled?

I can see its benefits in a "normal" car as I was down in Australia November last year with the missus; we got a free hire car upgrade to an A6 with cruise control which came in quite handy for the 1000+ mile road trip from Brisbane to Melbourne.

For something like the RS4 on roads in Aberdeen, it seems like a pointless option IMO but then again - like the bucket seats vs Recaro debate, I guess its down to personal preference when speccing the vehicle.

Am I the only one that loves coming out of the average speed cameras, cruise control comes off, drop it down a couple of gears and then floor it
I just love the noise and the mid range pull on the RS but the wife hates me doing it, :x
to the point now she says to our boys in the back "Hold on Daddy is going to go Lightspeed now and use up all the petrol" :P
