Hi, I bought an RS4 about a mouth ago now and i'm very impressed, i love it, i've been looking at this forum for a while but on the S4 B5 side when i used to own one.
Anyway i wanted to ask if anyone else had the half leather option? i love half leather and i managed to buy one with it, but it seems to be rare.
If i could have bought a new RS4 i would have defenately picked this option, it wears well, its not cold in winter and hot in summer, you don't slip forward out of the seat when braking hard and i think it looks the best!
Anyone got it?
This forum has answered alot of my questions already and this is all i could think of to ask! Good job.

Never seen or heard of any alternative to full leather on the b7.The B5 did have a half leather as an option, I had it on my old one "tech" something I think its called and it did work and kept v well.

Personally If any one has this as an option come re-sale time you might struggle big time...... but would be interested in seeing any !

I was loaned a red RS4 Avant by Newbury Audi when originally looking to buy, and this had half leather. Never seen it before or since on an RS4. I prefer full leather, but it looked OK and I can understand why someone might go for this option (use to have it on my 205 GTi in the early ninetees and was happy with it then!).

Half leather was one of the Audi Exclusive options:

Package 1 - black Pearl Nappa leather / Alcantara coloured.

I had a similar seat option on my first S4 - black leather / blue Alcantata seats to coordinate with the Nogaro Blue bodywork.

My S4 was the same!
don't think it was an exclusive option though i,ve got it as an option in the 08 brochure Race cloth/leather, i love it, it breaks up all the black but only subtle

Much nicer then full IMO, agree with the OP.

I find leather an arse to look after :)

Actually I take it back..... on the buckets that doesnt look to bad! That said there is still leather where the seat wears the most ( bolsterse etc) so Im not sure its changing any thing to much from a care perspective... Different colours i.e red/blue and black leather??

I've seen a pic of a sprint blue rs4 for sale recently with these seats. but imo it is the cheaper option compared with full leather, though it probably is more comfortable. You certainly don't get the saggy seat!!
