Brooner, there isn't anyone local as far as I know that can do it to the same quality as OEM. I had mine done by Pristine (still in the boxes). IIRC Laws Tyres are an agent for them i.e. they can do a temporary wheel swap while your's are repaired but it wasn't cheap when I enquired about wheel swapping.

I asked our local dealers a couple of years ago when it was in for a service, they didn't refurb them. This may have changed.

Cheers

Audi had a mobile van outside their premises repairing alloys a few months back and I got his business card. Tried calling it a few times with no answer. Company was called Wheels-Direct UK Ltd, Gloucestershire.

I know that Kinghorn (Blackburn) send away alloys to be done but don't know if they can supply temporary replacements.

I'm heading to Turriff Tyres tomorrow to get new tyres on my car so will ask them as they deal with lots of alloy sales. Will keep you posted.

Do you mean Audi UK at Milton Keynes, or an Audi dealer (if so, which one)?

HI Brooner Just noticed your post. I have recently had my alloys done by Motorwerks in Aberdeen. I left the car with them and they took care of the rest. All in it took about a week to turn around. I’m fussy as hell when it comes to my cars and I think they have been sound. I was £350 for the 4 of them to be done. That’s with removal and refitting of tyres, balancing, acid dip and re-spray. Well worth a try.
If you want their details PM me and I will send on their contact info.
Oh they also do Milltek exhausts. Thought that it would be rude for the car to be in that long and not get one fitted.

Hope this helps you out

Aberdeen Audi use Colin Forbes as their mobile alloy wheel repair mannie these days. He has a website www.smartalloyaberdeen.co.uk and is happy to come to your house or workplace.
