Hi Dave,
I am very interested in your RS4, do you live in Aberdeen or is that where you get it serviced. i am living just outside Arbroath. Can you send me some photographs before you put it on Pistonheads. Would it be convenient for me to view it sometime this weekend. I am currently car less after smashing my M3 up on the A90, luckily the insurance company paid up pronto!!

Had mine 2 and half years now. Funnily enougfh, exact same spec as yours. I have been thinking about replacing it but cant find anything that does the job and is better.
M5 / RS6 too big and lumpy. Nice power, but drive is compromised by size.
GTR - great in every way, but ugly. Just not sure if I could live with an ugly coupe.
997 Turbo - great, but small rear seats and I would go back to worrying about parking it anywhere like I did with my last turbo.
TTRS - Had a 3.2 for 3 weeks prior to this RS4 and loved the size, although the rear seats were small to the point of stupid and I have 2 kids to put in there. Also, it is a girls car.
XKR - Am I ready for my pipe and slippers? Great looker, but wood trim interior!
Any help please!

Late Maserati GranSport?
4.2 V8, 400bhp, 333 lb torque, rear wheel drive slippy diff, four decent seats, F1 flappy paddle gearbox easily sorted by an ECU mod, pretty much as quick as a 997 C2S (I've had both) and a lot rarer. More reliable than you'd think too but as thirsty as an RS4!

I love the look of the Maser. But I need to park it on the street. The RS4 has been ok, up to now. I wouldn't feel so sure about a slightly less discrete motor. Hence rs4, rs6, M5 thoughts.
