Well I have been so busy with work that I haven't even had a chance to write about this.
Couple of weeks ago I fitted my Hotchkis ARB's and while the car was up on the ramp I found that both my front shocks were leaking again
So got on the phone to Rob at Camberley and got the car booked in. About a year ago I bought a set of H&R 25mm lowering springs and 10mm rear spacers and 8mm for the fronts. they have been sat in the garage gathering dust as after buying them I realised it wasn't a simple job to fit them as the DRC needs to be repressurised after fitment and this can only be done by Audi. So I spoke to Rob and asked if it would be ok to pop the new springs onto the new shocks instead of sticking with the standard ones. I was delighted to be told yes and Stuart the RS MT at Camberley very kindly stuck on my spacers while the wheels were off the car as a finishing touch.At this point I just want to say I really cannot praise Camberley Audi enough! Rob and Stuart in particular are absolute superstars and car enthusiasts which is so refreshing! I have said it before on here and I will say it again I really would never take my RS anywhere else after being there. The service, attention to detail and customer service they provide is exactly what you would expect when spending circa £50k on a car and thy do not disappoint you. I know there are a good number of dealer that really should take a leaf out of there book. Anyway I've banged on enough now but guys seriously it is worth the extra travel I'm an hour away and if I'm honest even if I was 3 hours away I would still go to them. FAB FAB FAB!!!!!
So having had the springs fitted what do I think? To be honest the look of the car is perfect just what I wanted. tyres sit flush just up inside the arch and with the spacers god it looks FAT! I love it. But that isn't the best bit. The ride is just superb. It is just a tad harder than standard but the ride quality is just as good and I believe with a fully working DRC system it probably doesn't get much better than this with regards to a combination of sports handling and comfort. I know Caldy will agree having run this set up for a year or so now.
I have some pictures but the car is dirty and it's dark so not the best. I will post some more next week as I'm away for a week now. But you get the idea.
If you need DRC doing then I would recommend this Mod chaps so so so pleased with mine

I would like to stick coilovers on mine, but that means changing insurance etc.. to modified car blah blah blah, so will hold off for now.
