Has anyone else used the film that protects the paint from stone chips etc. Would be interested in their thoughts.

I've had VentureShield film from new (July 07) and I can thoroughly recommend it. I had the bonnet, front bumper (including lights & fog lights), front half of front wings and top of rear bumper (Avant) done. Just make sure that a). you have any paint correction done before it's applied & b) you use a firm that can coat the whole bonnet in one sheet. Nothing worse than a stripe running half way across! The fact that VentureShield had just introduced a sheet wide enough for the RS4's bonnet was the clincher for me.

In 17k miles it still looks like new (and it protects those vulnerable fog lights!) It's also almost invisible, unless you get really close up & look for it.

I had my front bumper, side mirrors and a strip on the top of the rear bumper done. Its the bizz. You hardly notice it and no chips! Cost £500 which was bloody rediculous!
