Anybody have any idea if these are any good?

I'm running on conti sc3's at the mo and think their quite good, but they are due a change.

Kwik fit online have quoted me £799 fitted for all 4, sounds good, but are the tyres any good?

Go for Vredesteins, an awesome tyre, and very good value as well

Good price yes, but Ive always found Pirelli's compound is quite hard

I've always found the p-zero's soft, with poor wear rates.

The Tyres of choice right now are Goodyear F1s, Michelin PS2 and Verdestein sassantas.

For reference, I picked up 4 275/30/19 sassantas for £460 in Jan(unfitted).

p-zero are pap IMO.

I have Assymetrics on the '6 and the on the '4 before, they are soooo much better. I would pull the p-zero's off but they are pratically new.

I will never buy them again - ever. It completely spoils the car and I have little confidence in the car now. Don't do it.

Think i might go for the Verdestein sassantas instaed, been offered a "special" on these by a local fitter

You won't look back, I had F1's on my old car, and these are as good/if not better in all conditions

Second that.

I had the P Zero Rossos as OE fit, they lasted only 9000 miles and I've had PS2 and F1 Asymmetrics since - both have longer lives and IMHO feel better.

Don't touch them.

I will definitely be "upgrading" to F1s, I have only used Rossos, so cant compere.

So if I fit these F1s with 275s instead of 255 to my avant you are definately sure with two 14 stone lads and a boot full of luggage in the back Im not going to be leaving half the tyres on the inside of the rear arches

No.

Try my, wife, 2 kids and 3 weeks worth of lkuggage to the south of Spain. No issues at all.

I've got the 275 F1's on my Avant.

I came back from France last year with two people plus their luggage and as much wine as I could get in the back of my Avant with no rubbing problems.

So folks I'm looking into getting new boots for the motor and was wondering if the 275/30/19 Goodyear eagle F1 are still the daddies.
I’m planning on getting the wheels refurbed and once they come back getting a set of the GY fitted. I take it that there are no other issues to consider, just fit them and enjoy. Oh is Camskills still the cheapest place to get them??

I would advise getting 4 wheel alignment after fitting new tyres, I had mine done this weekend and it was way way off! my 275 rear offsid had split due the back of the car trying to go in different directions. After having the 275's on, I have gone back to 255's as the price difference between the 2 sizes is pretty much gone now
