I've got a daytona grey avant and I'm getting my wheels refurbed.... The question is do I get them resprayed the same colour as the Titan/anthracite wheels? Will it look stupid? Does anyone have any pics of this combination?

I have an Avus and was thinking of doing the same. not sure on the look?? (sorry not wanting to hijack your thread!)

ok, in the world of RS 6, there is a guy with a daytona grey saloon with the titan wheels who does a similar commute to me. . . on one occasion at the local Audi I saw it parked in the car park so got to have a good close look. In two words, DO IT

the look awesome and provide a very stealthy look.

Then when I saw him on the A1, i.e.. in motion, they looked even better.

I think Dark wheels work better on a lighter coloured car

I've got a Daytona Avant too, with body coloured wing mirrors...... was having the same thoughts as I need my wheels re-furbed as the dealer had done a terrible job on mine and 12 months later they are all pealing!!!

I think the colour would have to be exactly right not just Anthracite Grey!?!?

I might even change wing mirrors to the Ali look!?

obviously it's a saloon but it gives an idea.... i have chrome mirror covers and i DON'T have the optics pack so it's not exactly the same ?
what do you think now?

definitely looks better with the anthracite mirrors matching the wheels.... I think I might stick with the silver wheels and might change mirrors to standard Ali look.......!?

Mmm thanks for that, not sure about them tbh I have the optics but would need the mirrors doing aswell..

I guess I'd need to do them aswell which I believe is v expensive? What do you think?

Agreed, IMO if you go for titanium coloured wheels you need the matching optics and mirrors, otherwise it just looks plain odd.

Get your wheels done in the Titanium look finish and then get your mirrors and all other bits wrapped in vynal to match them? On daytona that could look amazing and would be low £100's........
