or is it missing some key pieces of kit ???

I see it has the flat bottom wheel, bucket seats, sat nav.

I'm still getting to grips with the RS4 spec can anyone see if it's missing any must haves ???

:D

I do like the avant but you pay a premium for it.

Answers to a few Q's I had, I held back on the dredded DRC question !

The vehicle has had one private owner, the car has been supplied and serviced by ourselves last serviced at 15366 miles 23/10/07 and would be serviced prior to delivery to the next owner.

The vehicle is in excellent condition and requires a minor alloy refurb (being done this week)

The vehicle would be supplied with an Audi 12 month warranty inc roadside assisitance.

Doesn't have the adaptive headlights or the front centre armrest. And it has the "fried egg" headlights not the clear ones.

It doesn't mention a phone kit, but worth checking whether it has the "proper" RS4 steering wheel (you say it has but I can't see that mentioned on the link).

Loving the colour, but missing the fifth door :P

You can see that it has if you open the interior image

Good colour inside & out - including carbon trim - and whilst it misses the odd useful extra (like adaptive lights) at least you're not paying for fridges, fancy sunroofs and garage door openers that you might not want...

It's certainly not missing any must haves

This might help. It's the specification brochure:

Interesting there's no phone cradle. Previous owner may have removed it (like I did).
Not sure if they all come with bluetooth by default or not.

They don't - it was an option.

I never knew until recently that the auto-lifting boot lid was an option on the saloons. By this i mean when you open the boot it opens all the way on its own as opposed to needing to be lifted by yourself.

Sounds silly but i find it really useful!

I saw this car on Sunday when I bought it's (Misano) Avant stable-mate. Both were owned by the same family who also traded-in an R8 at the same time!!! I think this particular familys' business is in a difficult marketplace at the moment (hence offloading the fleet) but I believe they have been long time customers of this same dealership.

For me, I wouldn't have bought this one as it's missing a 5th door and the mileage (whilst perfectly fair) is a bit high for me.

Phone the dealer and ask to speak to 'Kerr' the salesman as he knows a thing or two about these motors.

quite a punt here, but are a few of the contributors on this thread also ex-Lotus owners? ;)

I've had it confirmed that it has the tech pack meaning it has adaptive lights even though they're not listed.

Doesn't have the centre armrest but can be retro fitted.

No mention of the remote boot pop (which I currently have on my s-line (£30 option iirc) and comes in very useful while struggling with a laptop and paperwork !) or Bluetooth. I'll need to ask a few more Q's !

JMC did you have a look round it at all ? If so any points for concern, the dealer confirmed it was in excellent condition but they all say that !

CSK,
Is that your first choice colour or is it the price that's tempting you ?
Get them to bring it to you for a test drive.
The recession is biting deep, can you imagine what they must have given for this car !!
It's the right colour/spec, try and get them to give you another 1/2 years warranty and some discount and i'd go for it, after test drive of course and DRC answers

I do like the colour, I always loved the Nogaro Blue S3 S4 etc. (I know this is Sprint Blue which is basically an updated version of noggy).

So yes it's a very attractive car from colour to spec and especially price.

Now who wants a 170ps s-line DIEsel I see this the only stumbling block in doing a deal. I'll investigate further and report on my findings.
