I've got the RS sports steering wheel with that horrible silver plastic on the flat bottom. Shame it's not proper 'ally' or even carbon fibre. Has anyone changed theirs in this area at all?

The same steering wheel in one of the special edition Lambo Gallardo I think has got a carbon fibre insert so maybe check with one of the Lambo dealers.

He's right you know - it's from the Superleggera. And it looks great.
Let us know if you get anywhere with it. I could see myself sitting behind that...

Yuck; alcantara steering wheel, no thanks! Bobble bobble bobble!

CF bit does look nice on it though, you'd probably have to buy a wheel and then strip it to get theat section. Otherwise find someone that can wet lay CF over your current wheel.

I know Audi sell the silver trim as a stand alone part. Lambo may do the same.......

Sweet!!!

Wonder if they will sell the carbon fibre part only - maybe a group buy might persuade them?

I don't think it is plastic by the way.

They also do a carbon fibre rear diffuser for the B7 RS4 but no picture, wonder what it looks like and price?

Task for Monday methinks.

The rear diffuser is still in the making... I've been talking with them about it. They will not do a group buy with any of their products, since their products are "made to order"

I gather that is wet lay over the existing part though? I was wonder ing if there's is pure CF mould or wet lay?

Yes it would be wet lay, but to the highest quality.

I would have thought the PPI item would also be wet lay using the existing part.

Let me know if your interested.

How much are you talking? Don't suppose you have any pics for it or anything similar you've done before...
