B7 RS4 Prices

Prices do seem to be dropping a fair bit at present.

Mugello Blue RS4 Avant on 46k miles for £34k.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/605792.htm

It's a P1 club car so sure to have been driven enthusiastically but should have be well maintained.

Looks good value against the £26k RS4 B5's.

And that's asking and not selling price.

The mileage will be hurting this one.

...plus the fact that it will have just been nothing but trashed.

The quote... "Nothing handles, like a hire car...!" springs to mind...

prices are dropping slightly but that car imho isn't a fair view of the market. Anyone with any mechanical sympathy etc would struggle to buy that one knowing what kind of life its led eg just a very expensive but fun hire car :)

Fair play to P1 for selling these direct and not hiding their history.
If it was an Audi UK rental scheme, I have no doubt it would be on an Audi Centre forecourt at £10k more.

Yep, and don't forget some cheesy, lying salesman in his 'Top Man' suit telling the customer how it was used by an Audi finance director only.

Could it also be an Import and NOT a UK car?

I think prices have remained very strong for the car - the oldest are now over two years old and as with all cars as they approach the end of their warranty the greater the risk (esp on performance cars) make the price slump. Of course all the fuel, road tax etc.. does not help either. B5's at 26k are just a joke - i'm not sure many get sold like this. Still the falls will bottom out - a B7 is going to be worth 30k for a good while yet!!!

Don't forget the B5 was only 400 units, whereas the B7 was unlimited. Supply and demand!

Unlimited except by time - and a total of less than 4000 B7s (saloon plus Avant plus cabrio) have been sold in the UK.
