hi guys do folding mirrors come as standard on the saloon because if they do cant bloody find the switch,checked the manual still no luck

No they don't! Folding mirrors look more like standard mirrors i think. The way to check is turn the mirror control button to 6 o'clock if they are folding they will fold! (with ignition on)

Mine has folding mirrors which (and I might be wrong here) are only available for the Cab. They are a different shape where they attach to the door, I'm sure that on the Saloon and Avant thay are mounted on to the door by two small stems whereas on the Cab they are one large mounting.

As I said earlier, I'm not 100% on this but I'm pretty sure it's something like that.

Cab = Standard
Saloon & Avant = Option (and a very strange choice if taken!)

folding mirrors were only an option on the cab so the ladies could check their hair from the sides as well

I had to remove folding mirrors from my Avant order because Audi wouldn't build it with folding mirrors!

Can (could) you spec the twin-arm Avant / Saloon mirrors for the cab?

Funny - I did a special order with memory seats, and had to fight like mad not to get folding mirrors as part of the package!

I wanted memory seats but they wouldn't let me order them!!!

Memory seats can be retro fitted if you want them, I am going to have it done!

It was a challenge to get all parties (i.e. dealer, Audi UK, Audi DE etc lined up...) but from a previous post -

Very important to stress the Standard RS4 Design part otherwise you would get the folding mirrors from the S4

All up a reasonable £600 - that's £400 on top of the basic price for the auto-dim. I checked and light & rain are still included
