Just had 4 new Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX GT 255/35/19 fitted. Not as tyre used by many on the forum so I'll report back on them later. Problem for now is that although the tyre pressure sensors were all fine I can't reset the warning display which is in red and reads 'check tyre pressure'. The manual says to press the 'set' button on the wheel and then the tyre pressure reset but every time I press the set button it goes to the lap timer! Any ideas...?

Had the same issue about 1 month ago. Set all tyres at 40 psi. One cold morning about about 6 weeks after setting them red warning came on (I presumed this was doen to the cold morning, and thus lower pressure) . Went to garage and all reading 38 psi, topped up to 40 psi again, Still red warning, and like you say you can't reset. Went to another garage now only reading 36 psi, topped all up to 40 psi, still red warning, but after about 1 hour of some hard driving, alarm went to yellow warning, and then it allowed you to reset. Dealer said, anything more than 0.5 bar difference will be registered as warning alarm (red). I can only suggest increasing tyre pressure, and then drive for a while, it must have a higher pressure set in the monitor. Hope this is of some help

Might be wrong on this but i seem to remember you can re-set the pressures with either just the ignition on or with the engine running, cant remember which one worked but try both ways.

Problem solved! Went out tonight and after a few miles it allowed me to reset whilst driving. Left car in car park for a couple of hours and still fine on start up and drive home. Thanks anyway.

I had a problem after one tyre changed. There is a delay before you can reset which in my case was a lot longer than it states in the manual. It did reset within 24 hours.

The problem here is that the wheels have been moved on the car. The car needs to be driving so that the TPMS ecu can "learn" which sensors are on which corners again. This will only be done whilst the car is moving otherwise there is a danger that the TPMS ecu will lock onto a sensor on another car nearby.
