Anybody managed to get 4 x Pirelli P Zero Rossos 255/35 R19 (96Y) for less than the above price?

That included fitting and balancing etc etc.

Does around 16k miles sound about right for a set of these?

Jack

Sounds about right - I paid £220 each for mine (Michelin PS2's) which were changed at 15k miles.

The Goodyear Assymetrics are getting rave reviews and are supposedly a step on from the F1 GSD3's whihc I had on mr S3 and S4 and they were awesome.

Plus they last longer than Pirellis from what other users quote, less road noise better wet grip and cheaper too.

Certainly one of my choices when I need new rubber boots on my RS4.

Maybe a bit of a change of subject, but i had to have 2 new rears at the weekend, and the car has only done 6500 miles........is this common??

What tyre make was it and was it worn in any particular area of generally?

They were contisports. Not really any unusual wear just low on tread.

Were they brand new when you got the car? If so, then I would have said it was unusual as I have put nearly £10K miles on mine and they still have a good 3-4 mm before tredblock on the rears and 2-3 mm on fronts.

Have you had your tracking / wheel allignment and toe angles checked?

I know i've asked before but i forgot the answer.

Where can i get these at this price & do they fit onto the stock rims with no rubbing, performance or speedo reading issues?

Anyone tried 275/30's on an RS4 Avant?

With the different rear wheel arch shape and the ability to put loads of wine in (on a return trip from France) I'm concerned about them rubbing at the rear...

Definitely not common. Had mine changed at 15k miles (all four), and that was after two trackdays. The centres still had 4mm or so on them, but the edges were shagged.

Got my Asymmetricall's from Mitcheldever tires, £600 fitted with a 4wheel laser tracking... excellent value if you are in the south of England..
As for scrubbing, I have none on my saloon, and I have SS+, but as you say, the Avant may have different shaped arch..?
