I'd wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't sell though. Not very tunable.

You mean unless you change the rods and add some turbo's/SC?

Yes. There is not much off the shelf tuning ke there is for the 2.7T or 1.8T. I'm not saying that it's not a great engine, it is.

Does it need to be tuned though?

In a light bodied special would be nice.

Well if you had a spare engine, you could strip it, change rods etc and add a nice big blower. It could also be further lightened whilst you are there. Personally I would be going for loads more revs and F1 stlye injectors to get better atomisation but what the hell do I know....

I was only thinking along the lines of that "It wouldn't sell". If it stays at £500 I would snatch his arm off, but it's going to go for far more than £500 - I assume.

420 bhp is not exactly your shopping trolley output is it!! stick it in a Ur quattro and it would need wings to keep it on the ground!!
