Comparison RS4 and R8.

Post by RussianM3_dude » Sun Feb 10, 2008 11:43 pm

He thinks some of the things I do.

The RS4 will be soo easily forgotten. Badly packaged and unexciting motor.

 YAAWWNNNN no wait :sleeping_2:

Kinda sad really, sorry to hear you've got nothing better to do than try and wind people up using your dads computer. Do you not have some calculus homework to do? Sorry, course not, how silly of me, you don't do that till you're 12...... :piss:

RM3D won't be one of thsoe then, he can't get rid of his for at least two years. And then will probably be on here for the next 20 still slagging it off.

You got it...

I was right about the RS4 laggy engine response. One single throttle flap... vs 2 in the R8 and 8 un the M3.

This is the best and most honest review yet.

Saw it a while ago. First decent report on how the RS4 feels on the edge than the normal blowing air up its backside saying how good it is. Remember it is still a Saloon. Not a mid engine sports car.

Me, Ill take my kids and everything in the boot and put up with it not having that last 5-10% at the edge. I only play with it 4 or 5 times a year at a track anyway but its still a fantastic road car!

As expected.

Like the look of the R4 though.

That'll be a cracker with a sensible sticker price.

Yes they have the same engine, but again, these cars are in 2 TOTALLY seperate markets and 2 TOTALLY seperate price ranges. For christ sake, the RS4 is a big family car, the bloke said it. Im sorry, but this Russian dude or whatever, is really grating on me now, you come in here, annoy everybody, and then leave. The R8 is a better car, WOW, telling usa ll something we alrady knew. In all honesty if id paid forty odd thousand quid more for an R8 i would expect to be better than most things on the road.

Nice to see the R8 and RS4 being driven that hard. Not exactly representative as driving like that on a track will get you black-flagged, and driving like that on the road will get you killed. Not really a surprising result though.

Eh??? He doesn't mention anything about the engine sounding like a diesel or being scared to take it above 5000rpm. But then again, he was driving one not just making up stories and being a WUM.

Oh no, I just realised the S8 doesn't handle like the R8 even though they both made by Audi!?!, I wonder why that is...

yep, 4 door 4/5 seat front engined saloon vs 2 door 2 seat mid engined sports car. Some of us have more than 1 kid and/or Mrs so an R8 just wont work.

Sorry, but I'd have the Atom plus an RS4 instead of the R8.
