Sounds really good if the sound bytes are accurate.

Bound to be a good solid reliable car & TBH i'm loving that rear exhaust set-up.

If it's sub £50K i reckon it will sell well, if it's mid 50's to £60K i reckon it's doomed. Can only be a good thing for Lexus to enter the AMG/M/RS market as i see room for another player. I'll defo be taking a test drive.

Dunno guys, it's a big leap for the IS range but doesn't quite do it for me from what I saw on those videos. IMO, Exhaust note is far inferior to the RS4 and the gear change didn't look that great either. I think the new MB C63AMG is more interesting.

Ooh.. thats nice... I thought you were talking about the LA-F at one point.. thats going to be around 80K.. I asked a Lexus dealer as its their is their premuim car.

Looks like this one might be good.. be interesting to see what the gearbox is like.

I was told it's around $135K for IS-F in Australia, compared to $180K for RS4.

That's not quite right. For those that have deposists down and are chosing specs on their IS-F's they are indicated more around late £40's tipping over £50K with what very few options there are to pick given that it is fully loaded.

I had a look at Lexus or is it Lexi ! before i bought my RS and this is only my opinion but i find them a bit to 'plastic' inside and TBH i think this one looks the the same inside

I think for 10K GBP less then the RS4/M3 it will find it's buyers. The one aspect about it I don't like is that it looks more like a tuner special rather then a completely redesigned car like ze Jermans. The IS-F has bad ride, tacked on bodykit and interior is not changed at all. Also, the engine is the weakest of them all. It might equal everybody on power roughly, but it's not an "exotic" engine. It would be like dropping a modified X5 4.8is engine into the M3. The power will be there... but not the excitement. The Lex is limited to 6800rpm and seems to run out of breath after 6600rpm. Basically it's like an old 'Vette engine.
