JD, RS4 0-60 and 0-100 Times

Runs carried out without a passnger, 98 Ron and a 12 C air temp.

Could not improve on the previous 0-60 best of 4.2 secs but can match it more regularly.

0-62 is 4.4 which i think is 0.4 better than std and 0-100 is 9.7 which i think is 1.1 secs quicker than std RS4, wih average Jo driver.

Very impressive. I particularly like the 0-31 mph time of 1.8s !

Is this method of timing as accurate as say a Vbox?

Can you do a 100-200 km/h or 0-200 km/h. Very interested in the results. 0-160 is a great time, sub 10 sec, brilliant. Mods?

According to VAG-Com its + or - 0.10 sec.
I compared real time speed according with Vag-com to GPS and they were identical.

I could not complete a full 1/4 mile under WOT as there are 2 bends to negotiate which affected the 1/4 mile times.

Heres the best 1/4 mile time but take it with a pinch of salt as it was not carried out under WOT 100% of the time, and will be better on a clean run.

US Units
0 to 60 mph: 4.2 +- 0.10s
1/4 mile: 12.7 +- 0.13s, @101 mph
00-100 mph: 9.7 +- 0.10s
660 feet: 8.3 +- 0.10s, @89 mph

Very nice.

Can't recall but how many miles is your RS4 on now??

TBH, i'm finding now i'm through the 10K miles that the car has really picked up some more pace. Perhaps linked with the good spanking it got in Germany.

The 1/4 mile time is great but the trap speed should be around 110 mph. I think a really good time is obtainable on the track.

I think it should have a trap speed of around 112mph, its 101 due to easing off for the bends.

Im quite surprised/happy with the results, considering its a 55k car with 5 seats. :D

Your 60-100mph counts 5,5sec with the remap on a saloon? Quite nice! My Model '06 Avant does it in 5,85sec. with standard mappings :)
