Just bought a RS4 Avant 1500 miles on clock, Missano red with loads of extras. One being the Phone prep. When i first got it, I paired it with my nokia N80 all was well apart from mo phone book was not transferred. [apparently due to the N80 not being compatible] Now without any warning when i make a call no sound comes from car, dial tone, voice etc i can only hear and talk through my N80 handset.

Audi are bemused. I have already checked the mute button its not on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Problem 1 is correct, the Nokia N Series do not offer full functionality with the Audi Bluetooth. I have the N95 & it won't sync phonebooks, however with the exception of the odd drop of BT Connection (very rare), i've no issue with all other functions & i can hear through the Bose & can be heard no problem. I'd guess it's a phone setting rather than the car, as the options/settings in the phone module are non existant IIRC.

Depending where you locate your phone in the car & assuming it has voice notification of callers (N95 does), when a call starts coming in, i just lower the music volume & can then hear who's calling me, which given the MMI display won't show me is a reasonable workaround.
