Hi Guys. I've been lurking on here for a couple of weeks and soaking up as much information on here as I could. It's a great site with many detailed hints and tips.

As I became a proud father in May I decided that my 997 C2S had to go. It was a shame because it was a fantastic car - everything I'd hoped it would be. The power, sound and handling are superb and if you haven't tried one i suggest you do. I also drove over 11,000 miles in a year in it and it never missed a beat.

I must thank Gareth at Bespoke Automotive (Gareth is a regular poster on this site and an RS4 owner). His invaluable advice and expertise is second to none. Gareth took care of the C2S trade in, sourcing the RS4 and providing finance. I wouldn't have been able to get near the figures that he achieved on all three counts. Plus he makes the whole process pain free with a high degree of professionalism. It's the third time I've used Gareth's services and I will be doing so again. Cheers Gareth :jump_clap:

RS4 Spec is Avus Silver with Optic Pack, Sat Nav, Adaptive Xenons, 6CD changer, Auto boot opening, Front centre arm rest, Heated rear seats, Auto dimming rear view mirror/auto lights and coming home feature.

I'm obviously driving the car in at the moment so thoughts on comparing it to the C2S and a previous E46 M3 will have to be put on hold. I'll hopefully be able to do that in the near future. In the meantime I attach some pics.

Are you from Bm3w and did you have a Ferarri 360 and a black CSL before? Lovely looking RS4 by the way love that colour.

Cheers chaps.

I have posted on BM3W before but sadly I've never had a 360 or CSL before. I had a Steel Grey M3 with the fantastic cinanammon leather interior (I should have kept that car really) which I sold for an Estoril Blue one. Then moved on to an Atlas Grey 997.

Funny thing is that when I drove the car out of the garage this morning my wife says "I thought you said that the house wouldn't vibrate with this car like it did with the Porsche!" I guess that the V8 has something up its sleave once its run in..........

You'll have to wait until about 25k miles before the engine starts to open up. I am on 25k and the car is completely different to the one I test drove a while back.

I thought it was his living room :D

I like Avus silver very much here is mine which I picked up in July. It is not very shiny as I had it on holiday for a month, the photos being on the wonderful roads of the far North West of Scotland.
