Any SD card, not SDHC card, up to 4GB size. The RNS-E will NOT work with SDHC cards at all.

I always use Hi-Speed cards because I used to have an old RNS-E that wouldn't work with normal speed ones, but others use them with no problems.

I got mine from AData and from Moby Memory - no need to pay high street rip off prices.

Remember that the RNS-E will only read the first 512 objects on an SD card (object = MP3 file or M3U playlist or folder).

Just make sure the titles of your tracks and folders don't exceed 16-20 characters.

I had heard the limitation was 16 characters but I seem to get away with slightly more.

The limitation is that the total path length (i.e. including folder names) must be no more than 64 characters.

So it you put a file called "verylongmp3filename.pm3" (23 characters) into a sub0folder called "verylongalbumname" (17 characters) which is ina folder called "verylongartistsname" (19 characters) - total 59 characters, it will still work (just!).
