As above really - I'm looking to find the best/cheapest company to insure an RS4 with.
All suggestions appreciated.

Bit of an open ended question really, as most people will have different circumstances, postcodes, needs, etc...
But for me, I have just changed to Admiral and they seemed to offer the best level of cover for the price. In the past I have had decent quotes from Bell Direct, Elephant, etc... basically, they are all the same company anyway!

I use A-Plan but here's a list of insurers that have given me good quotes in the past:

Does anyone have positive/ negatives about claims handling on any mentioned companies. I have just had two months of hell with NU Direct and this would certainly feature in any future selection even if I had to pay more.

Admiral were slow but not unprofessional. when the third party changed their mind on liability they went into bat for me so I would use them again

Just as a side note to this, how long does it take them to pay out if say your car was stolen?

Direct Line for me also, but as mentioned before, it depends on your own circumstances, points/convictions, Postal Code, garaged and parked on the street overnight, yearly mileage etc etc. However, I got my RS4 insured for 45% of the cost of my previous insurance, on a 997 Carrera 4S

Anybody had exerience cross-shopping M3 insurance for RS4 insurance? IE are RS4s cheeper to insure than M3 or BMW cars?
Very suprised that the RS4 is so much cheeper to insure than the Porsche!!
