Phone's that are compatable with Audi....
I think I am right is saying that any Nokia N series or E series (symbian s60) phone is only partially compatable with the Audi bluetooth system. Often these phones work, but don't have fully functionality - i.e. will not download the phonebook.
Thought it would be good to compile a list of phones which were being sucessfully used with full compatibility?
Unfortunately i can only start the thead by confirming the Nokia N73 & N95 don't download the phonebook!

Nothing as of yet is available to sync the phone book of an N95 with the Audi BlueTooth Module.
I've spoken with Nokia directly & they reckon this position will remain as is so just basic functionality.
For users of the N95, one trick i noticed that helps is to set your call preferences to voice identify callers, so basically as long as you're not listening to your Bose fully cranked, once the call starts to come in, the phone will shout out the callers identity, so even though the MMI will only show a number, assuming the caller is saved in your N95 phonebook, on about the 2nd ring the callers name will be shouted out from the phone.

Still having problems with my K800i when on bluetooth, it comes on and goes off randomly. it does help if i empty my recieved calls list though!! its just so annoying having to do this all the time though. i am not due an upgrade onmy phone for another 4 months, so guess i will have to wait.
Can anybody tell me the best one to get for compatability??

Does anybody know if the compatibility issues with Nokia N series phones have been resolved? My car doesn't have bluetooth but it is something I would like to have it retro fitted. However, in the meantime I need a new phone and would to prefer to stay with Nokia but do not want to get a new phone that is incompatible.
