Unavailable parts...

Hi All,
Not my first time on here but can't find my old account details.
I need some help finding/locating a new clutch master cylinder for my RS4 Avant - part no 8E2721401AC. Any help appreciated. Or is there a suitable alternative that can be used from the VAG group?
These cars are only 17 years old. They are far from obsolete, but why is it becoming so hard to obtain some parts. I also need a driver's side lower door trim as this has now blown due to rust and warped the plastic. Audi haven't had any available for years and that guy in Lithuania who seems to buy up everything rare, doesn't have any either.
Many thanks,
Guy

Drivers door blades are sadly long gone. Best bet is to keep your eye out for people breaking RS4's. I managed to get a good condition passenger one this way. People have mentioned 3D printing these over the years but I don't think anything has actually materialised. Which is a shame because I'm yet to come across a fellow owner who doesn't require at least 1 of the 4 doorblades!

Agreed on the door blades. Needed one on my last RS4 and couldn't get one then. If I could get hold of a clean set with no rust, I would have them 3D scanned. My neighbour has the kind of equipment to produce this stuff. In fact, 2 of my neighbours do.
Copart have a silver avant for auction. Could be a sparescar, just not sure i want to be breaking a car.

On the subject of unavailable parts...is the front number plate blanking panel on this list? Can't seem to find one anywhere. Could be a good candidate for a 3D scan/print?

Yes it’s definitely on the list, I’ve been after one for ages. It’s discontinued in both the full black and part silver trim.

Great! I'm sure they are plenty more that would like one. Maybe someone on here could lend you theirs to scan?

I'm not the 3D scanning person

that was someone else.
But yes I would happily purchase the front blanking plate and a set of 4 door blades if someone was able to replicate them.

I had the same issue with both front lower blades. I had a guy split them and removed all the rusted metal. Sprayed up and reinstalled and that worked out well. Looking at the car now you’d never know.

Hey, thanks for all the replies. I can't seem to buy the item from LLC. Seems to be a problem with payment processing. Will email them.
I will look at scanning any discontinued items if I can. The issue is tooling to rebuild. A replacement Wouldham to be designed to be made out of alloy rather than a sealed plastic unit. I may be wrong.

I looked in to having a template made for the lower right hand side door blade. They wanted 15k just to make the mould. Opted out as I don’t have that kind of money.

Just came across a related parts issue.
My rear caliper has started to get a bit sticky, cannot get one anywhere...

If you need a part to be 3d printed, there is a guy who did it for me to replace plastic parts on my RS4, I must say the quality and fitting was better than original. The hardness of the plastic can be adjusted to suit your need.

I’d be interested in a front plate blank/delete if you do these.
