Replacement Headunit From Pluscenter

Post by Sneakybutcher » Thu Jul 06, 2023 12:46 pm

Hi All,

I'm looking to replace my head unit to something a little more modern. Has anyone installed this unit from PlusCenter in the UK? It looks pretty good and reasonably priced. Thoughts? recomendations?

Thanks in advance,

Richard

That does look good. Never been a fan of the surrounds you normally need with a non OEM headunit. This one doesn't seem to have one so should fill the space nicely.

I doubt it'll fully work with driver display though. Maybe you should get one & write a full report.

I did, it works a treat. Fitment was easy with the supplied wiring harness. No cutting or joining of cables just plug and play. It has a sim card for internet. Can run all android apps, has Apple Carplay, Android car, waze, maps, everything plus more than you need. I can connect it to my OBDII port and have extra guages and information on it. If I want to revert to stock its a 5 minute job. The fitment is good but does nor secure with clips or anything just a press fit but very tight.

Looks pretty good. I'm sure some would be put off as the brand is unknown.

Did you have to buy a DAB aerial for it?
