Hi Guys back in an RS again B7 cab this time, still miss my white B5. Just been carrying out the usual Vagcom to check for codes, the AC Is not operational and stuck on Econ, so I need to get a new G65 fitted, Just wondering if this will be a bumper off job? I had a go at removing the headlight with the bumper on but looks like a no go just wondered if anyone was any special techniques for this. Very frustrating as I could see the sensor sitting just below the headlight which was very nearly out but I decided to give up before damaging the light or the bumper.

Might as well take the bumper off.
It'll give you a chance to get familiar with doing it as it'll more than likely need coming off again in the future for one reason or another
Once you've done it a few times, it's not much of a chore...
