Nuts and bolts

Changing a sidelight and DRL bulb turned into one of those 4 letter word inducing three day marathon events, ultimately needing the bumper dropped, light out etc.

In doing so I noticed that I'm missing a few nuts and bolts. Does anyone know of suppliers of these?

I've done some Googling and found *some* of them, but by no means all.

Of particular note on the MIA front:

- the nuts that secure the bumper to the wing...2 on each side, that need an extended socket wrench to get at. M10. They have a cupped bottom so that you can actually undo the nut with a socket. Standard nuts don't work (not easily anyway) as the stud protrudes too far.
- the bolts that hold the bumper on in the engine bay (T30 torx IIRC, with a ready formed washer), 3 of them at the front. One of these sheared off. Have drilled it out and re-tapped, but need a new bolt

I'm also missing a couple of the Dzu type dowel pin twist fittings that go on the underside, and a few plastic twist fittings for the same area. I think I've found packs of these on eBay....

Help gratefully received as don't like having bits missing!

Be careful buying cheap DZU ones for the undertray from ebay. They can be very soft & fail. The Audi ones are expensive but a few quid on them might save the undertray coming loose. A replacement undertray is a few hundred quid!

Completely agree. The ones on EBay are bullshit. If you get them done up, you then later find you can’t undo them. Buy them from Audi, there is a reason you pay more for them.

And there's me thinking £5+ for a nut with washer was expensive :)

Is there a better parts reference than this:

http://www.oemepc.com/audi/part_single/ ... 525/lang/e

This one doesn't show the nuts with washers as an example, so am a bit sceptical of it.
