I know that it wasn’t standard on these cars, but how have people added Bluetooth to RNS-E?
Thanks
Mike

Just shows - I scroll down to bottom of my page and I find a post about fitting a Denison unit.
Apologies for being stupid

Hi,
The one I just got had bluetooth fitted - 2006. main unit is an RSN-E and it had a TV tuner (not sure why but is analogue so totally useless now) and bluetooth with phone cradle.
Bluetooth module is in the floor under the drivers (in Ireland so RHS) seat in a waterproof (?) box - unit has an aeriel for the phone (amplifies the signal supposedly) plus the various connections/charging bits.
Totally useless tbh unless you want to keep the RNS-E. I have removed it for an android unit - sooo much better (Medeke M400).
Anyway taken it all out - though left the wiring but might be interested in seeing if that could be easily removed if someone is interested.
Would consist of bluetooth unit with a tiny built in aerial, cables, handset cradle and clip on for smartphone (mine is too big for it - amazing how phones have grown over the last few years - soon Gordon Geko's phone in wall street will look "small")
W.
