There is no such thing as a life time warranty on any part that naturally wears out , LIKE a shock absorber , Bilstein will repair them but charge for it .
I have never been a fan of those shocks considering the cost the ride is hard and the reliability not great .
I think thats why we sell so many KONI replacement shocks to these cars , its a really well balanced solution and very cost effective .

The issue with Coil overs is that they go low and lower , they cant get near to standard height and many buyers are misled into believing they can
The KONI shock kit coupled to a H&R specfic lowering kit gives great results , super comfortable and better handling that a brand new vehicle

Not a fan of koni and yes as you say shocker boy there isn't a lifetime warranty I've got the B16 set up on my RS6 and not had any problems also previously had two b7 rs4s running kwv3 and personally there is not much difference in ride quality between the 2 so to say koni are a better choice than bilstein not a chance may be for a Dagenham dustbin sorry lad but KONI vs BILSTEIN..... Bilstein are in a different league lad not to my b7 rs4 cab also has the B16 set up by the way

M5killer , you clearly are not in the trade making bold statements like that . The amount of complaints about Bilstein on many forums is mind boggling , You might be a fan and we all have opinions , BUT We have done hundreds of RS4 'S and never one complaint it is the best solution with out doubt. KONI all the way !!!

I would like to add , the kit we do is NOT a coil over because KONI dont make coil overs . The majority of RS 4 owners i talk to just want the car as original and comfortable , COIL OVERS simply cant do that . they only do low and lower and most owners dont want to beech the car on speed humps .

i"ve been on shockerboys site-sells and advocates coilovers to those who want to buy them, and promotes shockers to potential customers also
horses for courses-a salesman, not exactly a snake oil salesman, but a salesman all the same lol
i might convert my b14 car to shocks springs in the new year, havent yet decided what shocks yet though, like above i prefer bilstein to koni products having used a good few of both

m5 killer , You really should get off your hi horse , You made the comment that KONI was rubbish , this simply isnt true . They have a pedigree that Bilstein would love to have , Do you know how many of the last 50 Formula One Seasons KONI have won ? You do know they are factory fit on Mclaren SLR , Lamborghini , Aston Martin , every Ferrari up to the F 40 . and many more that i wont bore you with. ME ? You had a pop at me also . i supply thousands of shocks each year to leading VW accessory companies I supply Race and rally equipment to VW Motor sport . I ran 2 VW race formulas for VW . So no i dont eat Salad .
I am here to give solutions to problems and we do it well . Forums are not the place for people to slag off everyone who tries there best to help others . I do it commercially and we are successful, I wont apologize for that , if anything we at CRS have done to pop your clog please let us know , .
In the mean time you keep pushing your solutions , not that you offered one i noticed . . Genuine customers are always welcome to contact us for advise , We dont charge for that at all . But we certainly wont recommend putting a A 4 shock in an RS 4 its criminal and technically dangerous .
