Clutch pedal Stuck

Quick question again: just noticed that when Sport mode ON clutch stuck on halfway way back. When using launch controls (just for sound, never used) then pedal stuck on halfway back.
Also my mechanic said he can hear some noise from the gearbox when he was under the car.
Thing is if I drive the car (sport button off) then everything is fine. But the rattle noise between 1000-1300 still there.

Does it happen when you are using sport mode but driving gently, or only when you've been giving it the beans? If the latter, can you pull the pedal up with your foot and the car will the drive normally? If so, change clutch fluid to Dot 5.1 (higher boiling point). This is a common issue with the RS4, but this is cheap and solves it.

Changing to Dot 5.1 may solve your issue. Topic has been discussed many many times before.
If not fluid, easiest fix (although not cheap) is a new clutch and flywheel assembly with a magic pipe from Robnic.

Pipe changed last week, now there is a vibration over 3000rpm
