No get rid of the oem air box. Run a 102mm cold air feed straight up into the air filter.

As Mike says - fit a large CAF from behind the fog light grill (assuming you have aux radiator delete?)
My RS came with the Revolution intake and a small diameter CAF fitted so I upgraded to a larger one. I'll post some pics later but its pretty straight forward.

Yeah the normal cold air feed fitted is about 89mm as that is a good match to the air box inlet but with the revolution air intake you have a much larger opening and more potential for heat soak so go as big as you can fit. I swapped my MRC fitted 89mm for a 102mm. You might be able to get next size up but I think 102mm was fairly tight.

Heres a few random pics of my upgrade install -

- 45mm diameter feed removed ready for 102mm. My opinion is any larger would be struggle to fit

Cheers. It does sound good - especially with the gutted pre cats and centre resonator delete. Still get the V8 rumble at low revs but then the higher up towards the redline it starts to scream

Ive just used a ram-air pipe, its 100mm but is pvc instead of the usual neoprene and keeps its shape very well, its about £25 delivered with 2 alloy end pieces and 1m of ducting and i used exactly half, on a standard airbox.
