Hi, doing a bit of investigation on a couple of faults on a friends RS4 B7 recently bought. The car's EPC light is on, and cuts fuel at 7k revs. I believe this to be linked to "Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 1)" fault that Vagcom has thrown up. I intend on doing the output tests on the excellent sticky here to figure out if its a sensor or the flaps that are faulty, and hoping that this will rectify the 7k rev limiter on there.
Another fault that I'm not sure about is the 02071 - Local Databus: No Signal/Communication. This is within module 55, Xenon range and is complemented by the annoying headlight warning light on the DIS. Has anyone had any previous with this before? Initially there was also a No Basic Setting code but I performed the adaptation to get rid of that. Thanks!

Are the lights still functional when the DIS warning shows? I had a similar fault when I purchased mine and it turned out to simply be one of the door plugs come loose. Totally unrelated to the headlights but it would still show on the DIS as a headlight warning and the lights would go out briefly. Worth a check, only takes 5 minutes to pull the rubber boot back and check the plug.
