Fan issue

Think my cooling fans goosed it’s not coming on or iv not noticed it coming in at all this week I drive 20-30 mins to work in traffic but temps are all ok they sit where the usually sit Quiestion does ur fans turn on as soon a as use drive or whats the set temp that it comes on at ?

I may be wrong on this but I think the fans should run at slow speed at all times if climate control switched on and go to full speed when water temperature reaches around 100 deg.C.

This is how fans worked on lot of VAG cars of that era but not 100% certain if the RS4 is exactly the same.
