STOLEN - Daytona Grey Avant - RS04BMX - Hinckley, Leicestershire

Stolen this evening, believed to have happened between 6 and 7pm. They broke into my house and turned lights on to search for keys. We got home at 7pm

Reg: RS04BMX Daytona Grey Avant. Standard (Buckets, FBSW, Carbon Dash trim) apart from Bilstein B16s and some Powerflex bushes

Only proper pic I have...(only had the car 5 weeks )



Car was located in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

If, by any chance, someone comes across this car or parts that may be from it please let me know, or Leicestershire Police.

The police officer that came round, whilst very good, had the attitude 'another day, another expensive Audi goes missing' so I don't hold out much hope for good news.

Not sure I'd even want it back if it was found Spent years planning and working to be in a position to justify owning one (even for a just a year or two) so its a real kick in the balls to have it taken away from me so soon and has spoilt the dream to be honest

Having to have a phone interview on Monday with the insurance company for fraud investigation "due to the nature of the claim and the short time I've owned the car", so that should be fun!

Will keep you posted, for now I get to enjoy driving my girlfriends £300 Ford Ka.....so I guess its not all bad

really sorry to hear this keep your chin up, i had my black MRC stage 2 rs6 c5 avant taken, totally mint black milteks, black optics, etc etc, was gutted sold my mercedes and got a small loan to buy it... owning the dream and was a real keeper... they broke into the house and stole the keys whilst i was at work, turned up 7 months later in london abandoned back window smashed, front bumper damaged, x4 wheels kerbed, did not want it back, police asked me if i had any enemies or if i posted photos of the car online - nope! its the hassle that goes on for months after..

Sorry to hear this. It is always bad news when the criminals get away with it. I think it just encourages them.

Wasn't on the news, it was on here. Another forum member had this RS6 stolen about a day before this RS4 in neighbouring Nuneaton, then a few weeks later it was picked up by its tracker and led police to a warehouse full of stolen fast Audis in Coventry and some of the scumbags still on the scene too.

Hi all,

Just a quick update on this...

The car was found 10 days after it went missing over Birmingham way on fake plates. I managed to see the car at the recovery yard before the insurance collected it and it wasn't good at all considering I had cleaned and waxed it just before it went I was shocked at how filthy and mistreated the whole car was inside and out in such a short time... looked like it had been used and abused for months on end

Currently waiting for the insurance to decide whether or not its getting written off, which I believe it will be, as the damage is quite extensive when all the small things are added up together. I do have pics but won't post until I know what is happening with the car.

So it looks like my RS ownership is over as quick as it began
